Nun wird jeder Tag einzeln angerichtet aus einem Teil Arbeit und zwei Teilen Frohsinn und Humor. Danach füge man drei gehäufte Eßlöffel Optimismus hinzu, einen Teelöffel Toleranz, ein Körnchen Ironie und Takt. Jetzt wird noch alles reichlich und mit viel Liebe übergossen. Das fertige Gericht empfiehlt sich jetzt noch mit Sträußchen kleiner Aufmerksamkeiten zu schmücken und serviere es dann täglich mit Heiterkeit und mit einer guten, erquickenden Tasse Tee...

Happy Birthday Frank Zander!
Wenn man früher einen guten Song hatte, wusste man: Der verkauft sich auch. Heute ist das anders. Ob ein Song gut ist, interessiert die Plattenfirmen nicht. Was sie wollen, sind Künstler, die die Hosen runterlassen und den Leuten ins Gesicht rotzen.
Diese tiefe, raue Stimme hatte ich ja schon lange vor Rammstein, seit ich mit dieser Mandelentzündung auf Tour war.
Ich habe mich damit abgefunden, dass es wohl wieder in die zweite Liga geht.
Natürlich sind wir alle immer sehr gerührt und auch berührt, wenn die Ärmsten der Armen den Saal betreten. Aber diese Menschen vertrauen uns und sie wollen an diesem Tag auch nicht bemitleidet werden. Es kann ganz schnell gehen und jeder von uns könnte abrutschen, durch Krankheit oder durch schwere Schicksalsschläge.

Happy Birthday Brent Spiner!
Having spent so much time in a fictional world, I prefer to read about the real world.
My own personal favorite Cher song is the unforgettable Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves.
Yes, Data is hairless but I am not. And we are both anatomically correct.
Acting is acting.
If you look around at the people in show business today they are basically the people who didn't give up.
And I think it's likely that there will be Data's out there one day. I hope so, if there are, that they all look exactly like me!
And, you know, when you are a kid, everybody wants to be an actor. I think that everybody wants to be in show business, frankly.
I don't read fiction at all.
I don't read Science Fiction.
I think he is an extremely accessible character. In Data there is no potential for cruelty.
I think it's the business part of the word show business that causes me the most concern.
I think the potential for man is so enormous, if we can stay alive long enough, we're going to be seeing a lot of what Star Trek is projecting.
I'm an avid biography reader.
If I'm not mistaken, I think Data was the comic relief on the show.
People think that being on Star Trek is career suicide, but it's really just the opposite.
Radical surgery is never fun.
There is no question that everybody who works in show business is lucky because of the number of people who wish they where working in show business.
At the end of the day, whenever that may come, some people are going to remember me as Data. My only hope is that I've just done enough other work to kind of balance it a little bit. I don't want to erase it, certainly, because I feel fine about the work.
I remember the first air conditioner we got was a window unit. I would sit in front of it about 12 hours a day, just looking at it and praying to it – the god of cool air.
You know, I'm not sure that all kids aren't performers. Everybody plays cowboys and Indians – it just depends on how seriously you play it.
I don't really trust someone who doesn't think Laurel and Hardy are funny.
That's the way I looked at it. In terms of the western, absolutely. Star Trek from the beginning; Gene's notion for Star Trek was "Wagon Train to the Stars" that was the whole concept. It is a western. I think all sci-fi is western. It's just a different format.
You know The Original Series costumes were made by the actors mothers!
I think it's likely that there will be Data's out there one day. I hope so, if there are, that they all look exactly like me!

Man wird alt, wenn die Leute anfangen zu sagen, daß man jung aussieht.
Ein guter Verlierer ist ein ungewählter Politiker, der sich gewählt ausdrückt.
Ich bin Ostfriese, und insofern bin ich eigentlich auch Burgenländer.
Ich bin seit zwanzig Jahren Hochsteuerzahler und bezahle den ganzen Mist von Kollegen mit, die falsche Umsätze angeben. Man wird vom Staat gefilzt, als ob man ein Verbrecher wäre.
Kennen Sie den Unterschied zwischen Jutta Scharping und dem Jesuskind? - Das Jesuskind mußte nur eine Nacht neben einem Esel schlafen.
Mein Ruf ist schlechter als ich es selbst bin.
Für mich ist ein Intellektueller einer, der morgens ausschlafen kann, nicht körperlich arbeiten und vor keinem Chef buckeln muss. In diesem Sinn bin ich auch ein Intellektueller.
Ich gebe meine Neurosen, die ich tagsüber gesammelt habe, abends auf der Bühne an das Publikum weiter. Die Leute bezahlen dafür und gehen dann mit meinen Problemen nach Hause.
Man darf die Haare beglückwünschen, dass sie diesen Kopf verlassen durften.
Sag mal was Interessantes. Die Leute schlafen uns schon unter den Fingern weg.
Wenn dir ne Taube auf den Kopf scheißt, dann ist das ja Hohlraum-versiegelung.
Mir geht es darum, die Leute vom Sockel zu holen und ihre Eitelkeit zu durchbrechen.

Komm, lass uns erstmal die nötige Primitivität ansaufen.
Ehrlich gesagt, bin ich auch kein großer Freund des heutigen Fernsehens. Das ist ja ein Eldorado der Werbeunterbrechungen geworden. Und dann immer diese Quotenjagd. Ich bin im Grunde froh, dass ich da raus bin.
